A home is more than four walls and a roof—it is a place of safety, belonging, and hope. For families living in poverty or recovering from disasters, a secure home becomes the first step towards rebuilding their lives with dignity.

Recognizing housing as a fundamental human need, Vincentian Social Services launched VinNest, a housing support initiative dedicated to restoring homes and renewing hope for vulnerable families across Kerala.

Building Hope, One Home at a Time

For many years, VinNest has been responding to the housing needs of families affected by floods, landslides, and other natural disasters. The project has enabled numerous families to rebuild their homes and reclaim a sense of security after losing everything to calamities.

VinNest also reaches out to families whose dream of owning a home has been interrupted by financial hardship. Many begin constructing a house only to abandon it midway due to a lack of resources. By identifying deserving families, mobilizing community support, and partnering with generous donors, VinNest transforms unfinished structures into warm, livable homes.

Beyond Bricks and Mortar

Every home built through VinNest represents more than physical shelter. It restores confidence, strengthens family life, protects children, and offers a renewed sense of stability for those facing difficult social and economic circumstances. The project reflects our belief that every family deserves a place they can proudly call home.

Jubilee Housing Initiative

As the Vincentian Congregation prepares to celebrate the 125th Jubilee of its foundation in 2029, the Congregation has undertaken a special mission of compassion. As part of this Jubilee celebration, Vincentian Social Services is committed to constructing 40 homes for homeless and economically vulnerable families.

This initiative is not merely a commemorative project but a lasting expression of gratitude, service, and solidarity. Construction efforts are already underway, bringing the dream of a safe and dignified home within reach for families who have waited for years.
