Koottu (meaning "Together" in Malayalam) is a compassionate initiative by Vincentian Social Services, in proud collaboration with the Kerala State AIDS Control Society (KSACS) and district-level support networks.

We believe that every child—regardless of their health status or socio-economic background—deserves the chance to learn, grow, and lead a dignified life. Together, we are breaking down the walls of stigma and isolation to build a generation of confident, capable, and hopeful youth.

What We Do

We provide comprehensive support to children living with or affected by HIV across Kerala, ensuring they have the tools to rise above their circumstances.

• Educational Support: Scholarships, academic materials, and essential school supplies to keep dreams alive.

• Psychosocial Care & Joy: Emotional support systems and festive celebrations to ensure no child feels left behind.

• Life Skills & Resilience: Interactive workshops focused on building confidence, emotional intelligence, and sharp decision-making abilities for adolescents.

• Legal Empowerment: Specialized awareness classes that teach children their rights and protections under the law.

• Digital Skills for Tomorrow: Free tech courses, including Basics of Python Programming, to bridge the digital divide and unlock future career opportunities.
